I have to disagree red.
Napoli, like Lazio, have a one time lump of cash. Where as Lazio had the stock market, Napoli has the cavani fee.
Napoli has a much smaller fanbase, old stadium, much less turnover, compared to us.
They are currently buying players and giving them rather large wages. But can they sustain it ?
No, they arent making debts like Lazio did. But these wages are big, and if they miss 1 or 2 CL's in a row, they are facing a liquidity problem, wich will force sales.
Now, how do they come back from that ? They now have a one time chance, with cavani money, but they wont get that from the players they are now buying.
IF napoli fails, they are degradated to Fiorentina level. and could stay there for a pretty long time
