Lazio was spending far over what they could carry, but that chairmen kept funding it. then he got into a scandal, and lazio had to rely on the "normal" income, wich wasent quite sufficient.
He sold the team, and the team had to sell everything.
Napoli is now also doing a simular thing. they are building a team that requires a steady growth, and yearly championsleague, to be sustainable. IF milan and fiorentina manage to take this years cl spots, and suddenly, inter and milan for example do it next year, then napoli is in a HUGE amount of trouble.
If that would happen to the current juve, it would just mean "allright guyse, no summer transfers before sales"
