Parma CEO Pietro Leonardi “Whoever wants to sign Paletta has to pay €35m,” he told reporters. “There are no negotiations about that.”

 GET FUCKED
This is why oilmoney is simply destroying football.

Crappy shit teams such as parma, know that when they overhype a player hard enough, for long enough, at some point an oilteam will step in and pay the iron price.
Effectively running other teams, out of the game

WHilst one can argue, that big teams did this before the oil teams, one needs to take in acount the way they do this.

Its not about how good you actually are anymore, its simply a player getting hyped, gets purchased by one of the oil teams, but fails to kick a dent in the massively stacked competition and fails. like pastore.

In the past, mostly and only madrid was doing this.

Now with the oilteams, many do this, without a proper vision and its screwing football and players.

Abramovic is to blame for all the oil clubs. Without him premier league wouldn't have half the money and viewers it has now, he put the spot light on the foreign oil money premier league.

12 years ago we bought nedved for 42m, name me a winger who was bought that much in this last 12 years... AFAIK none, not even David Silva bought for that sum.

we bought baggio for 10m in 1993, how much is that in today rate? I wouldn't be surprised if it reached 100m today.

vieri was bought for 50m in 1999 or something, if you compare that then 60m falcao doesn't seem insane anymore

stop all this nonsense loser and beggar mentality.

Are you forgetting we bought Buffon & Thuram from Parma for massive amounts. Buffon is still world record price for GK 12 years later.

didn't lazio used to throw crazy money at players? they bought crespo for insane money back then. not to mention inter.
they also sold Nesta & Veron and probably others for a lot too

yeah, but at the same time they bought veron for 26+ million in 99, the next year crespo for 48+ mill, and the year after that they went crazy with staam for 22+, mendieta for 42+, fiore and kovacevic for 35 altogether. they did sell nedved and veron in that same year but they were still spending money.

people acting as if before the oil clubs came in, clubs signed player by giving them carrots
that was very diffrent actually.

Back then, it was chairmen funding the big player transfers. world class players. players for the first 11. Or they made huge loans for those.

Nowadays, with the oil; those teams buy like 7 players per position, young and old, for massive wages

see the diffrence ?

didn't lazio used to throw crazy money at players? they bought crespo for insane money back then. not to mention inter.
they had a rich owner, untill that company went bankrupt, and they had to sell everything

Entirely funded by zidane, who was entirely funded by a big loan at a spanish bank
