Milan kicking out Andrea because they thought he was too old, yet they play Kaka, Mexes, Essien, Abbiati and Bonera who are older than Pirlo when he left. Great club

They didn't kick Pirlo out, he wanted a 3 year contract extension, but they only wanted to offer one year extensions to players over 30.

i dont believe that even if Pirlo had stayed with milan he would have had half the impact he has had with Juve so far. It's all too easy for fans to say that milan were stupid to let him go. At the time it was probably a good decision for both parties

Agree completely.
While Pirlo was one of my favourite players, he hadn't been performing at the same level as before, during the last two or so years with us.

Sacking Allegri was always a stupid option, it had nothing to do with him.
Fall guy.

Pirlo needed a career change to wake him up. I don't know if he'd have the same motivation by staying the course.

There's no coach who would do good with this shit squad of Milan. There's only a moment of an extra motivation when the coach arrives but that disappears after a short period. It's not about coach but more like everything else in the club. They are seriously horrible and pathetic this season and those statements that comes from their officials isn't helping their cause. Good time for their fans to consider harakiri.

But when Milan lose in the CL, they use them as a benchmark for Serie A.
