Well for one thing, Moratti was a supporter first & a businessman second when it came to running Inter. This is the reason why the pro-Thohir crowd wanted him out. But he was passionate about Inter, knew the history & what the club meant to the fans. You also can't blame the ridiculous inflation of players on him/Inter like you can on PSG, Monaco, Chelsea, City, etc.

And I'm definitely not saying Moratti was perfect or that I agree with everything he did during his presidency, because I don't. But what I have a problem with (and what I've been trying to imply) is wealthy people who have no clue about football or the club's history, who come in just to make themselves money & pay insane amounts for players just because they can.
