Great. Now they can make the leap from decent to world class.

@baggio, u mad bro?
Lol no way brah. They didn't need Qatari investment to go from decent to world class. They just needed to re-sign :matri:

I mean, did you see his Fiorentina debut? :tup:

Imagine this summer we are fending off offers from Cagliari for our players.

Modern football, gotta love it.
The sad thing though, is it disturbs the balance of power in a way that doesnt improve it, but creates another type of monopoly that bends the rules and builds something that hurts the game, that too something without the history, tradition and culture of the clubs that are projected to be 'the ones with no competition in the league standings.'

Wait, a professional football team in Sardinia that pays arab money? Man, everyone will want to play there. Beats living in shitty Manchester.

In the first season they might actually be a good team to sell some fringe players to for extortionate fees, depends on what vision the owners would have for the club. I doubt Cagliari is going to have that same pull as Paris to start a huge franchise. Maybe they will be a feeder team.
True dat, but much worse places to live in the world then Sardinia. Would be hilarious to see fcking Cagliari of all teams as a financial superpower :D

let's hope they become decent enough for CL spots so we have 1 less bbilan, printer or nipples in CL each season.

Their kits look like Barca's and they have that cool city and name thing working in their favor so I can see them attracting a decent following.

They definitely need to sort out their stadium situation, they desperately need a new one.

The Qatari would fix that very quickly by bribing everyone though.

I doubt this rumor is true but it would be a very interesting thing if it were true, this would certainly help Serie A.
