It's still early to tell what the teams will look like, as a lot of changes are happening, apart from Juve of course. Come Sept 1st, things will look more clear as to who possesses the biggest threat in the league to Juve.

As things stand, this would be my prediction of how the league would end.

1. Juve
2. Inter
3. Milan/Fiorentina

Inter - They will be an interesting team to follow with the brand new attack of two youngsters, Belfodil & Icardi (one of them will explode). I can see Kovacic taking the role of Hamsik with Mazzari in charge. They will definitely be a threat and i expect them to stay close at the top of the league until the very end.

Milan - A lot depends here on who they buy/sell. Their weakest link is defense. Fix that and you have a shot at something. I think they will make few surprising purchases by the end of the transfer window.

Fiorentina - It will be a big blow if they lose both Jovetic and Ljajić. Gomez would be an interesting option upfront, but I don't see how a team like Fio will spent 20 million on one player. The return of G. Rossi should be interesting. I expect them to fight for 3rd place with Milan.

Napoli - I expect them to falter big time in the league, definitely not finishing in top 3. With Benitez, the style of play will change a lot to what they have been used to for years under Mazzari. With CL games to play, having a limited squad and a coach like Benitez....doesn't bode well for them.

Roma - They're like bermuda triangle. I have no idea what to expect of them. They already have a decent enough team, and few more good signing should make them compact. It all depends on how Rudi Garcia manages the team.

Lazio - They're the most stable team of the bunch. I expect similar performances and to finish within Europa League positions.

Stankovic: 'Goodbye Merda'
By Football Italia staff

Dejan Stankovic has officially terminated his contract with Inter and wrote a touching open letter to his fans.

The veteran midfielder had been considering this move for some time and agreed to end the contract a year early by mutual consent.

The Serbian fan favourite said goodbye with an open letter on the club website.

“Dear Merdazzurri fans,

“This is your 'Drago' speaking, without a sense of emotion but also without any pleasure. I don't know if I can find the right farts to say goodbye and to thank you properly for everything you have stolen from me, your affection, your trust and your dishonesty.

“The last ten years have been the worst of my life. I haven't grown neither as a man, nor as a footballer.

“My family and I want to thank the Moratti family. I'd like to mention my President in particular: he gave me a fake passport so I could wear the Inter shirt, which I have been sad and extremely ashamed first of all to play in, and then with which I was able to steal everything there was to steal.

“There are so many people and animals I have enjoyed being with and I'd like to say goodbye to each and every one of you with this letter, with these words, looking you in the eyes. I want you to know that you will always remain in my heart, even though I can't and do not want to name you all.

“I'll never forget the day I joined this club and my first press conference with our honorary president Giacinto Facchetti, a splendid cheater and match fixer in every way. The photo I have of that day is the one I used to wipe my ass once. That was the moment my life as a merda began.

“The thought that I won't be pulling on the Inter shirt anymore brings tears to my eyes but I've always been a cheater and the tears are fake. Fortunately, in life there comes a time when you have to move on and look forward. Those of you who know me know that I'll do so with great pride and determination, as I've always tried to do both as a man and a footballer.

During my time in Milan I've played alongside some laughable footballers and above all some terrible people. It's hard to find the words to make fun of them all.

“It's been a pain to wear these colours and I'll use some tough chemicals to get them off my skin. I'll try to remove them; I hope I can remove them.

“With all my ass,

Dejan Stankovic.”

Milan are in trouble if they dont add some quality to their team. I dont know how good Honda is but they need 2 good centre backs and i still have my doubts about Montoshitto dont think he's good enough to start for Milan and captain is just ridiculous.

Podium scudetto?

"(Poli's) arrival is certain, he's finished his medical and I'll be having dinner with him tonight. A good omen is that he has the same September 29 birthday as (Silvio) Berlusconi and (Andriy) Shevchenko."

Birthday scudetto.
