    Isn't Blanc a counter-attacking coach?

Could be worse for them, saw them linked with Bielsa the other day, a bullet to dodge.
I liked his Bordeaux when I watched Ligue 1 before but I don't know much about him. I remember the time when we were looking for a coach and people wanted to see him here along with Deschamps.

I think he's a good option for them tbh, especially after losing Allegri. They had Donadoni and someone else available, so he's surely better than those lol.

When Totti stops being the brains of the team, they can start looking elsewhere.
They won't, because he's a dickhead and he'll cry to play like he always did. He's bigger than Roma.

Brain? He slows them, he makes too many mistakes. Those goals/assist he made don't mean much when you see how dull he makes them be.

Roma don't have constant performers in their team, they're a mess being saved by sparks of ability which is littered across the squad. They need a coach firstly, replacing Totti will come when they develop a style that isn't retarded and produces results.

And Totti has so much more ability than any other player there to transform a match, like the goal vs Juve. His passing is still right up there with the best around.

Roma have rejected a 20M offer from RM for Marquinhos according to La Gazetta dello Sport @Dule90

I dont know much about Marquinhos but that´s a shitload of cash for such a young and unproven CB.
wouldn't say he is unproven as such, sure as hell is a promising cb much to the thiago silva mould, i think roma will do well to keep him

If they intend on keeping all their promising youngsters, sign some well established names to improve their first team and for once get a capable coach (Luis Enrique, Zeman loool) then they'll have a true shot at Serie A success imo.

Destro, Marquinhos, Lamela, Florenzi, Pjanic are good players. Benatia coming their way too. De Rossi has turned kinda meh but he needs to refind himself. I think they are 3 or 4 good signings away from having one of the better starting 11 in Serie A.
de rossi will go, bradley seems more than capable of providing the steel in midfield, but they could do with another solid midfielder tbh

But even then he's gonna show up at the training ground wearing 'basta' and cry how he wants to play, so fans will riot and in the end he'll get to play even as 45yo.

He is, he's one that values organization, especially defensively a lot.

He did an amazing job at Bordeaux, built them out of nothing and made them an extremely organized and compact team that went on to achieve impressive results in Europe, let alone breaking the status quo of Lyon's dominance in France

don't think he will work at Roma, seems an odd fit.
True, he is certainly not like recent Roma coaches.

Whether or not he will work remains to be seen. It's definitely a different approach by Roma to appoint such a pragmatic coach.
