Usually, in wikipedia, the football player's page includes a part called "Personal life". There they write if the player is married, has children etc.

Check out what's written in Hamsik's "personal life":

Personal life[edit source | editbeta]

In December 2008, Hamsik was the victim of an armed robbery while he was driving his Mini to go Christmas shopping.[41] On 22 November 2011, Hamšík's pregnant wife, Martina Franova, was stopped while driving her BMW by armed men.[42] Franova was forced out of the car and police later found it in Ceselle, near Naples and returned the car to Hamšík.[42] Following Napoli's 0–0 draw with Sampdoria on 17 February 2013, Hamšík was stopped by three masked individuals on a scooter as he was driving on the Via Cinthia[41] heading for the Naples International Airport.[43] One of the individuals smashed one of his car windows and then pointed a gun at him, demanding the Slovakian hand over his Rolex Daytona, worth upwards of €10,000;[41] Hamšík obliged and called the police after the three individuals fled.[43]

Only in Napoli
Bonucci :touched:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonardo_Bonucci#Personal_life
In October 2012, Leonardo Bonucci was emerging from a Ferrari dealership with his wife and three-month old son when he was accosted by a mugger – who reportedly pointed a gun at the player's face while demanding that he hand over his watch. According to published accounts, Bonucci's wife, carrying their son, dived immediately into their car, but the player himself froze. Then, as the mugger reached out his spare hand to grab the timepiece, Bonucci punched him – first in the arm and then the face, causing him to fall to the ground. The defender then proceeded to chase his would-be aggressor down the street. The mugger jumped on the bike of a waiting accomplice, though even here Bonucci briefly attempted to block their escape.

Robbery seems pretty common in Italy.
Seems like footballers get targeted a lot, obviously because they are rich & famous. Most of those stories come out of places like Napoli - Hamsik, Cavani, Lavezzi all had run-ins with armed robbers (though Bonucci's incident was in Torino if I'm not wrong). However I don't think it's a common problem or fear for "regular people" in most areas, I mean I felt safer walking around in Italy at night than I do during the day in some places around here.

I don't think that's true.

Hamsik loves the city of Naples, he's no fancy guy. From what I read he also spends time and he sports in the much lesser wealthy areas in Naples. He likes to mingle with the people in the city and is exposed to them often. Lavezzi held relationships with members from the Camorra, no surprise he got mugged once or twice lol.

We could say the same about Turin being criminal with Bonucci's case and Vucinic's watch that was stolen when he first joined us. People are just too selective.

Naples isn't the wild west like some here are trying to make it seem.
