Say what you want about Allegri, but the way Milan are acting in this situation is a disgrace. There is no reason to fire him, considering that they sold off their two biggest stars last year, a bunch of the old guard left the club, and with the amount of young players Allegri brought into the mix. At the end of the day, that was a damn fine coaching job that he did this season. I hope Allegri takes the job at Roma and leaves with a big middle finger pointed at Berlusconi

:agree:

Allegri was a little slow in figuring out what shape to use with this new Milan, but I don't see how he can be faulted this side of the first couple of months of the season.

Bilan would be stupid to fire him, hate to admit it but he did do a good job after the first part of the season. If they didn't fire him then then there is no reason to fire him now.

It would even be understandable for Milan to get rid of Allegri, who is nothing more than a decent coach, if they had a great coach lined up to replace him.

There is absolutely no suggestion that that is the case.

i hope allegri leaves/gets sacked already, i don't know what he is waiting for, it is clear berlusconi has no faith in him despite what galliani thinks, then again berlusconi has no footballing mind especially if he thinks that hiring seedorf will be the answer. seems like berlusconi thinks that seedorf will be some sort of Conte or Guardiola, rather than say a di matteo (this season) or di canio

:agree: that's the main point here for me. I really don't rate Allegri all that much as a tactician, I think he's stubborn and limited when it comes to formations and his footballing ideas, but he has done a good job of steadying the ship at the circus that is Bbilan. And to replace him with Seedorf? Utter madness.

Sneijder: Inter tried to destroy me

Wesley Sneijder has hit out at former club Inter, claiming that the Nerazzurri tried to 'destroy' him.

The playmaker was sold to Galatasaray in January after a lengthy contract dispute with the club.

And the Netherlands has admitted that he considered retiring after being hung out to dry at San Siro.

“I am very sorry for the players and the fans after they finished ninth,” he told De Telegraaf.

“And also for the Coach who has now gone.

“But I am not sorry at all for the other components of the club.

“I hope their failure to qualify for the Europa League will see them reflect on some of the mistakes they have made.

“The Nerazzurri tried to destroy me several times – if I had not been strong mentally, I would have hung up my boots.

“I experienced difficult times there. Many people at that club do not deserve my respect.”

Very true. It's a joy to watch them flapping around. Anyway, such a takeover won't guarantee anything. I'm sure they'd find a way to spend the money all wrong being the clueless joke of a club that they are.
