I guess its shifting back in position, since it already shifted last summer when he(or Berlu) said the 28 year old Lodi is too old for Milan (after signing the 1 year younger MountOlive).

Galliani is a moron, he goes off disrespecting a legend like Puyol calling him old and then he's known for signing old players. What is the point, really..

The point is Galliani is all about PR and saving face, even if he knows most will see it as BS, if a deluded minority will buy it, he will say it. In this case Puyol publically squashed this flimsy rumour rather quickly, hence Galliani must chime in on how he is of no interest to them at all etc.

Puyol is one disguisting player. One of those players I would like to smack around a bit.
But seeing these kind of rumors saddens me as I remember how there was a time when old players like Zola, Vialli, Ravanelli emigrated from Italy to other countries to finish their career. Now it's the other way around.
