does conté juventus remind you of any old teams?
We have always had prolific strikers during my period, other than that maybe close to the 1995/96 but still we approach the game in a different style with Conte (at least used to last season). Last season's intensity was unique for me and this is what I most miss this season.

yeah of course. i grew up watching the likes of inzaghi, trezeguet, and del piero so it's a big step down to see what we have up front today

So Napoli got their players back, their points too and are now only three points behind us. We have Asamoah at international duty, Marchisio injured, Vidal and Pirlo slight injuries and Chiellini away for at least a month. Our best forward is either sick or tired, we have Coppa Italia semi finals and CL very soon.

I would say even before February starts Napoli will be topping the table.

I fear you may be right, Jack.
It will take a miracle to get past Lazio in the Coppa semi final and the CL will be gone before you even think of it if the bad form continues, and it is bound to continue.

Juve fans should prepare themselves for an empty handed season....after all the talk of a trebble and the likes :howler:

It would have been better if we lost to Milan in the Coppa

Well it's up to us only. Napoli is in good shape right now but they'll lose points for sure. They struggle against teams who defend well as they're basing their play on counter-attack.

Despite Napoli/Lazio and the others we should look at ourselves. We have a lot things to improve and it'd be good to get some decent forward as we can't go with only two support strikers in all three competitions. Use depth players for Coppa Italia, try out new formations and tactics. This could help to understand which formation would suit us the most atm and which players deserve to be starters in case of suspensions/injuries/fatigue.

do you remember last seaon when barzagli, bonucci, and chiellini were all injured at the same time, where we had to play a series of 5-6 tough matches in a row. i think napoli, forentina and some other losers were among them

everyone thought we were going to lose, yet we won all those matches with style despite missing a a lot of first team players

Frustrating january... last year our january turned out great, though we had a shitty februari and march..

if we just win 4 matches in a row everyone will shut the hell up about crisis and shit like that...

you know you rule when people start talking about a crisis after 2 games without a win (eventho you eliminated an archrival in between). Wishful thinking on their part really...
