5TH CONSECUTIVE PODIUM FINISH

Key players may have left, but in the last five seasons, Milan have never slipped out of the top three spots in the Italian top flight.

MILAN – In the last five season, Milan have won one less title than Inter and Juventus, but nevertheless have shown more continuity. The Bianconeri finished seventh in 2009 and 2010 while the Nerazzurri finished 6th last season and 9th in this campaign. The Rossoneri on the other hand, have never been outside of the top three spots.

All of this despite Ricardo Kakà leaving in 2009 and the loss of 14 players last summer.

Here are the numbers:

2012-2013: Juventus 87 points - Napoli 78 - Milan 72
2011-2012: Juventus 84 points - Milan 80 - Udinese 64
2010-2011: Milan 82 points - Inter 76 - Napoli 70
2009-2010: Inter 82 points - Roma 80 - Milan 70
2008-2009: Inter 84 points - Juventus 74 - Milan 74 (Milan with a better goal difference but Juventus in front in the head-to-head clashes).

If Juventus wasn't in the Italian league I would have been the biggest "italian league is a joke" advocate. It's run by a bunch of retards who look for moral victories and whatever the fuck Milan's site is trying to do.

 So many disappointed Inter ticketholders...
That's one of the reasons I'm quite surprised at the increase.

Teams like Inter, Roma and Milan have been fucking awful for entended periods of the season, so their crowds could have been significantly better.

Same goes for teams like Genoa and Palermo.
