Zambrotta made a mistake leaving Juve for Barca. If he had stayed in Serie B, he probably would have been celebrated Scudetto current days. Both teams Barca and Meelan simply weren't his teams, player even didn't manage to make bench for a few years. Basically he had a wasted career.
Scudetto yes, but he could be immortal like ours magic five - camoranesi, Buffon, trezeguet, del piero, nedved

I've never seen a player like Zambrotta when he was at his primetime before and after - LB/RB/LM/RM, fuckin' horse who can run for 1 week without stopping for a lunch, probably Lahm is on the same level of universality, but he can't play as RM or LM + he is not strong like Zambro was

are you drunk or something?
Okayk. Now that I think of it, only Cafu and Sagnol come to mind when thinking about other right-backs, I got it wrong on the talent comment; Hate is more blinding than alcohol.

They've said the same - 'we leave to help JUVE with money' :sergio: Cannavaro, Thuram, Zambro
I see you even don't know what that cunt Thuram said.. "Juve, who?" "They wasted my career" ant etc.

What touches Zambrotta, i found this old article. They both are ungrateful fuckersand shouldn't be respected by ours fans, expect Cannavaro, i think we can call him uno di noi.

ZAMBROTTA: JUVE BETRAYED ME

Barcelona defender Gianluca Zambrotta feels he was "betrayed" by former club Juventus in the wake of the Calciopoli scandal in 2006.

The 31-year-old left the Turin outfit following the discovery of match-fixing and was criticised by many Juve fans for walking out at time of need.

"I was called a traitor but I was the one who was betrayed," Zambrotta said in an interview with GQ magazine.

"All of us who gave our all in training and games just to have two Scudetti taken away were the ones betrayed.

"And with my sale the club cleared a lot of their debt so we gave a big hand to the club."

Zambrotta transferred to Barca for a reported 14million euros on a four-year contract and defended his decision to leave Turin after clinching the World Cup with Italy in July 2006.

"Us footballers are painted as only being interested in money," he said.

"Of course, compared to a few years ago conditions are better for footballers, but the economy in general has evolved.

"I would like to see what professional would turn down a top job with double the pay.

"People think we just kick a ball and take the money, but I know I have earned everything.

"At school I rose at 6.30am and with lessons and training I was not home until 7pm and then I had to do homework. Many times my mother found me asleep in my books."

Zambrotta did not rule out a return to Serie A one day.

"I have a sense of nostalgia every time I go back and have to leave again," he added.

"It is the most beautiful country in the world."

I hope someday conte can punch both thuram and zambrotta. And i do hope someday juve can censor both players faces in the vids juve make. They're not worthy to be mentioned in juve history. They're worst than traitor. :sergio::inter:

If by special you mean knowing when to foul and get away with it, then may be. Talent-wise Zambrotta was nothing special. He got skinned may a times, mostly against the English teams. Lichtsteiner is already better than pre-2006 Zambrotta.
Zambrotta was class from 2003 until 2006 as a fullback.

Yep, but that's what you'd expect from an idiot and a traitor.

He used to be a superb footballer, though. One of the very best.
