Milan really have their work cut out for them in the mercato. Sure, they'll sign a top player or two, but look at all those guys heading out the door. They are great, great players. Yeah, old, but still very good. They almost won the title, for christ's sake.

How are they gonna properly replace them all in one summer? I don't see it happening.

Astori, Montolivo, Traore to replace VbM, Gattuso, Pirlo, Nesta ?

Traore and Monto are quite decent transfers for Milan. If they can add to it with some defense strength in the form of Ogbonna/Astori and some more reliable backs and 2 more midfielders, they'll be a big, big threat next year. Don't kid yourselves.

There was a rule, if Aq will play at least some number of games, Milan should sign him on permanent deal, but he didn't managed to done this criteria :p
I mean generally, esp with these rumors of selling Prince or Silva.

you also need strong personalities and leadership, all of whom are gone.

It's quite obvious they should've begun a gradual transition seasons back instead of this wholsesale change, granted, but Ambro is still there, Zlatan provides some of his own particular brand of "leadership" and there always comes a time when younger players have to step up and lead. Like Silva for example.

Every club goes through these things - I don't think it's gonna be terrible for Milan. The only things that can make it bad for them is a.) a limited mercato after these encouraging signs and b. Allegri.
