Galliani: 'Milan goals not given'

Adriano Galliani was furious after another Milan ‘phantom’ goal. “When it crosses the line, it is a goal, but not for us. It’s frankly unacceptable.”

The Rossoneri saw Sulley Muntari’s effort not recognised in a 1-1 with Juventus, then today their 1-1 with Catania had Robinho’s shot cleared when the ball had possibly crossed over.

“When it crosses the line, the rules say that it is a goal, but not for us,” moaned the Vice-President.

“It is the second time this has happened to us. I understand refereeing errors can happen and we accept them, but I really don’t understand why our goals that cross the line are not given. It’s frankly unacceptable.

“In other games the officials have been very good at spotting these incidents and getting the right call. It looks as if we are just very unlucky.

“I hope this bad luck ends and that this incident does not alter the Scudetto race.”

but the ball DIDN'T cross the line that tends to mean it wasn't a goal!

Thats such bs. No all we need to become succesfull is a strong Juve.
stronger serie a means our substitues get to play more quality games

our loaned out youngsters face better opposition, become better players

a stronger serie a means more viewers and italian teams live of television money more then others

a strong juventus, benefits from a strong serie a to become a stronger juventus

I've said this all my life about football and I'll say it again here...

Any team that leaves their title hopes up to a marginal referee call or a few centimeters of ball movement here or there hasn't done nearly enough to be convincing that they deserve the title. :pado:

More viewers means jack all after yet another fck up new rule by FIGC , and to become more competitive is something we gotta manage ourselves. Did inter need a strong serie a to win cl? are barca concerned about other la liga teams ambitions?

Conte and Marotta did complain quite some times this year, but they never ever mentioned Milan or another club. It was only Juve. They were looking after Juve's best interest.

Why do these maggots keep mentioning us? Do they think that the same trick will work twice? That's how they once relegated us when every single thing that happened against them was presented as Juve's fault.
Allegri, Galliani...get real, the same shit won't fly again. Stop mentioning our name with your dirty mouth.

inter milan thanked everything to mourinho and zlatan ibrahimovic, turning losers into champions. however, we can now see the result of their reckless spending. if serie a was in excellent shape however they wouldnt be financially so much in the red as they are now

barcelona of today, based itself on barcelona of the mid 2000(dinho, deco, etc) when la liga was by far the best league in the world, domminating the championsleague

mou or whoever the fck, it wasn't thanks to a strong serie a was it? and their current state is because of their known poor management, and that was exactly my point.

Whatever plot to barca's project they could careless about the massive debt spanish teams got atm.

Was surprised to see so much fuss being made about the call.

Watching it at the time I didn't give it a second thought because I thought it was quite clearly not a goal.

Anyway, it was a good game.

Catania started well and pushed Milan back.

Milan came back into it and started to make chances and deservedly took the lead.

Catania started the second half at a tremendous tempo and it was just a matter of time until they equalised.

Nice to see a team play boldly against Milan, rather than just sitting cowering in Ibrahimovic's shadow. Ibrahimovic was dangerous, but because Catania didn't put three men marking him they were able to compete with Milan in other areas of the pitch.

Milan's fitness levels were very impressive. After playing Barca in midweek and playing in a pretty high tempo game against Catania, I thought they would really suffer in the last 20 mins of the game. They kept going very well, though, and pretty much dominated the latter stages, even if Catania did have a couple of decent chances on the break.

OMG, I just watched the match myself, since it started at 9am my time.

That was so not a controversial call. Ridiculous response, really.

Milan's complaining :howler:

Fucking disgusting twats. The game should have finished 2-2 if both decisions were given. Simple, dont know what they are whinging about. If anything, Catania should feel much more robbed seeing how their goal was clearly onside. Anyway, Allegri has become one of my most hated men in Calcio, such an arrogant, whinging, moaning piece of shit. Average shitcunt of a manager who is lucky to have Ibra winning him most games.

Anyway, grazie Catania, now we have to do the job against Napoli tonight. No ifs, buts or maybes. We MUST beat the Garbage Men!

Catania's disallowed goal was a correct decision.

The scorer was onside, but the player who flicked it on at the near post was offside.
