Ranieri about Tevez: “We now have a compact balance in the team. We have to evaluate how much he can give and how much he will take away.”

This fool might actually say no to Tevez and be the reason why Inter won't sign him. Then Inter will end up signing the Poulsen of the strikers.
Dunno.

I would think Ranieri would find it easier to build a team for Tevez than he would for Sneijder, so I could see him accepting Tevez on the understanding Sneijder will be gone in the summer.

He does have a point, though. Despite of his quality that guy is an idiot. It's hard to sign somebody for so much money that you can't count on, because after one week he'll say "Mommy, take me back to Argentina". Seriously, he's acting like a little kid and they can get a lot of damage if they do sign him. They'd have one old ass Milito who should be sold soon, Pazzini who's a deadwood and eventually Tevez that would ask to leave, which would put them in a horrible position.
Tevez did play two full seasons both for United and City. It's not like he will immediately ask for a transfer. A year and a half is everything Inter needs from Tevez. Then they can easily sell him. With the way money are spent by new rich teams like Anzhi and PSG (there will be more such clubs to come), Inter will find a buyer for Tevez, and they'll get good money out of him.
If they play it smart they can only gain from Tevez and they can gain a lot.

I can't see Tevez going to Russia.
