Tried telling you guys, last season was a fluke...no way will they make top3 this year...I said it at the begining of the season...I hope they enjoy their 1 minute of glory because after this year they go right back to where they belong.
They are very strong and their achievement is to be praised. It was not a fluke, they are still very hard to beat. It's just that they are playing Champions League as well (not to mention how big success was to pass the group stage, they are still rather 'new' to Serie A). It's they depth that's keeping them behind, it's hard to play both competitions with a limited squad and we've seen same from Viola once they went to CL.

That was my main argument. They lack depth to to succeed in any competition this year. I agree they are a tough team to beat, obviously, but I just don't see them being strong in the league focusing so much on CL. They are dropping points in Italy and it's going to complicate their future objectives if they aren't careful.

They might accelerate now, as I can't see them beating Chelsea.

But anyway, there's no way I'd write them off. Even for the next season I expect them to be solid strong.
