Coach Massimiliano Allegri has extended his contract with Milan, the club have confirmed.

Allegri met Vice-President Adriano Galliani this afternoon and a compromise was reached after a few previous rounds of talks.

Allegri, who won the Scudetto last term as his first San Siro attempt, is now tied to the outfit until June 2014.

It'd be funnier if he ever got a 9 month injury.

Pregnant Aquilani to be sidelined for 9 months, and will require a further 2 months to fully recover while on maternal leave :p :D

@ Rab: Did Sachhi really say that? If he really did, then he is one giant idiot. I never really liked him that much as a coach; he fucked Italy @ Euro 96, and Baggio basically saved the Azzurri @ WC 94, while single-handedly guiding them to the final . Sacchi had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Amazing? Debatable. He did really well at club level, but the way he fucked Italy, who had a great squad at the time, at both the Euros and the WC (had it not been for Baggio, Italy would've been unceremoniously dumped out of the tournament by Nigeria, before that even!) will always tarnish his image/reputation. Moreover, if what he said to Berlusca about Van Basten is true, then that is just ridiculous.

sacchi was an amazing coach, there wouldnt be a 'capello' without sacchi
He was the last football revolutionary, but he had success for what, 3 years? as coach of the Italian NT he was a fucking disaster, he banished his best player after the 94 world cup for 2 years and absolutely messed Italy up at Euro '96, and didn't even get them qualified for Euro '92.

Not amazing in my view
