Watched some Zidane highlights of his time at Juve earlier... oh my Lord was that man gifted. Skill, technique, intelligence... he was such a refined footballer, a once in a lifetime talent, a gift to the world.

Did anyone see Hamsik's miss after they were down 1-0? Worse than Eto'o miss against us last season.
Watching some of the games this round, you really got to say Serie A has jumped in quality this season. You rarely see sloppy amateur play like you do even in the top leagues around Europe. Even the smallest teams will punish you for being sloppy in Serie A. Europe watch out!
Considering we'll likely be seeing teams like Inter, Lazio, Udinese, Napoli, Roma in the 2 EL spots moving forward, I think they'll take it more serious, as most of them actually have the resources and squads to handle extra games. You look at Lazio and Udinese this season, they basically got to the knockouts by playing B teams.
Yeah, Roma had a bunch of new players, new coach, they were struggling bad in pre-season too. I think they added a few new players after those games as well.
Well hopefully all these excuses prove correct. After all France and Portugal are closer to Italy in the Coefficient then Italy catching Germany. One positive is Italy has more teams remaining in both tournaments then all three of these leagues
