Withing a couple years there'll be no more DP, Totti, Nesta, Gatusso, Zambrotta, Pirlo, etc. That whole era will just be the past. Totti's one of the greatest of them, I'll always like him as a player.
Is it just me being optimistic (and a bit over the top) but is the most interesting Serie A season post Calciopoli? The league seems to be gaining a bit of momentum in terms of competitiveness, good games etc. Sure the quality is nowhere near what it was in the heyday, but could Serie A be at the beginning of becoming one of the best leagues around again?

I wonder if anyone will be able to beat their all time goal scorer records at their clubs?
Also Roma has retired Aldair's #6 when he retired, wonder if they'll do the same for Totti since he has served even longer and is a bigger legend for them, no?

90's was something else. The players were different, Yugoslavians, Holland, Italians, French, Brazilians, Argentinian etc were producing some of the finest players and enjoyable to watch.
