Strange thing is it's very rare for athletic people, usually comes with smoking and obesity. There's only a 30% chance of recurrence -if he doesn't listen to doctor's instructions- but in that case -god forbid- it'll become permanent and he obviously won't play again
I feel too sorry for him it's too sad and I wish him the best now.

I wouldn't describe this with only. And isn't Cassano a big smoker? I'm not sure but I think I heard it somewhere.

It's now confirmed that he suffered from Ischemic Stroke.
at this point, this seems to be more of a media rumour - sky have been talking about stuff like this yesterday when tests had been nowhere near complete.
It's yet to be confirmed by the hospital or Milan.

I still say Boateng slipped him some roofies to violate him in the locker room.

Hopefully Cassano will fully recover from both horrors.

you know, Alen, it is possible to dislike another team without being an utter dick about it ... I know it must be news to you but try it, it ain't as hard as it may seem.
But why would he not be an utter dick about it?

It's much more fun to be a dick and piss people off, as he has succeeded in doing here.

Yes, yes, as expected. He will never play again, he might end up in a wheel chair, he might even die.

Then you'll see him come in as a sub later this month. The crowd is in ecstasy. Milan, what a club. Milan, piu di un club, Milan-where miracles happen. Milan lab :delpiero:

Déjà vu, Galliani. We know your marketing tricks very well.

Anyway, in a way, I hope you're right. I like Cassano.

[TD][FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Roma have confirmed that Fabio Borini is out of action for five weeks and Juan for two weeks after injuries sustained at the weekend.

Earlier reports had suggested that the Giallorossi would be without Borini for as long as two months after he fell awkwardly against Milan on Saturday night.

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Tests at the club's training ground have now confirmed that Luis Enrique will be without the 20-year-old for at least five weeks due to a thigh strain in his right leg.

Meanwhile, Juan has also been ruled out for a fortnight after tests confirmed the centre-back picked up a similar, less severe thigh injury against the Rossoneri.

Similarly, David Pizarro suffered a sprained knee in the final stages of Saturday evening's match and will undergo a timetable of physiotherapy over the next few days to recover.
