I remember some people didn't want him here because he was a damn ugly German.
and still don't want that little mamas boy. did not step up to the plate when the going got tough and will always be a simple player, but no leader. hearing him talk is enough to know that he is not very smart. not more of a man than montolivo.

Talking about Forlan or about serie A not being on top anymore, I found a 10 year old interview with Forlan which is interesting to read from this perspective. Here are parts of it:

1.About the EPL and how it was the Italian football that was hitting the headlines while the English were still nothing more than wannabes.

I have always liked English football. When I was small, in Uruguay, they showed Italian football but, years ago, they began to show the games from England. The attacking game enchants me. Almost all the teams think about the rival penalty area. You see the goals, and all the colours. And, lately, there are many stars, not only English, but foreign like (Juan Sebastian) Veron.
In addition, you can note that people are very fanatical and that the violence no longer exists.
Many speak about Italian soccer or the Spanish game, but the English is very competitive. There are several teams fighting for European trophies."

2. About his idol who happens to be an ex Juve player

Alen Boksic is my idol, yes. I followed him in all the teams where he played. He is a model forward who scores goals and is very complete. He is really good.

Ya i can understand that, Nesta is a really stylish defender. I personally love watching defenders who can play the ball ala Thiago Silva, Gabriel Milito, Chivu and that fucktard Pique.
