The way Nesta had Messi on lockdown on his last Barca game had me speechless! Imagine if Lio was around in Nesta's time, he'd be playing against the Hierro's, Canna's, Maldini's, Stam's, Thuram's etc not these Garays and Albiol bulshit.
Ecxactly; and people get angry with me, when I say the defenders today are not the same as 10-15 years ago.
I don't like to compare football now with the old days, but people keep doing that, saying Messi and Ronaldo are the best of all time. Then I have to start a discussion. I see it this way; today it's more (if not all) about athletism and speed and that's the "easy way", if you know what I mean. You can find athletism and speed within shitty amateur football, but they all suck when it actually come to playing football.

It's normal that they do. Just like we will cheer for Catania.

Catania-Milan is gonna be the scudetto decider. If Milan win it then it's definitely over. If they don't and we beat Napoli then things will get crazy.
I am not cheering for the teams Milan are playing, I don't really care about them and I almost know the outcome so why bother?

thiago silva best defender in the world "my ass".

Barzaghi has been hands down the best defender in serie A this season, so how on earth that motherfucker is considered the best in the world when he's not even the best in Italy.

Milan fans :howler:

Even if we manage to close in, we will choke later on against Cesena away or something. Just like we choked against Siena, Bologna and Chievo when Milan were losing points.

I don't think we will have trouble against the smallest sides who won't need the points. Cesena, for example. Those guys won't play 10 men defense the way they do throughout the season when they need points. The moment teams like Cagliari and Atalanta secure the serie A status, they'll be easily beaten. The same will go for Cesena, Novara and Lecce if they're already relegated when they face us.
It's the next 3 matches that we must win. After that it will be easier.
Assuming that we'll fight for the scudetto till the end, of course.

the saddest thing is that even if some miracle does happen, refs will make sure to gift milan just what they need at the most critical moment... so dont get your hopes up guys

We've put ourselves in this position, not that it's even bad considering consecutive 7th placed finishes.

I don't want us to sound like those idiots at the red n black forums who sit there all day commenting on our team and how we are cheating.

Talking about refereeing decisions for those cocky Ibrahimsabitch reliant Milan fags and making it sound like that's why they are ahead of us looks weak on our part.

:agree:

Milan playing away to one of the most in-form teams in the league between games against Barca - a team that always have a formidable home record.

It's the only one of Milan's remaining games where I would say that one could really expect them to drop points.

If the lead was down to one or two points, then pretty much all games become awkward and tense.

But that is dependent on Juve winning.

Juve can drop, at most, two points from here in to have a decent shot at the scudetto.
