Ya the whole hype around him was centered around the idea that if he was as good as he was at 18, then imagine how he'd be when he's older. Looks like he's more of an early boomer though, as he hasn't really improved drastically over the years. He's a very good defender, but its become obvious now that he isn't going to turn into the world class defender people expected him to be.

I usually criticize the excessive hype around young players, but to be honest, i myself fell for Sakho. Because at 17-20 he was better than most defenders his age. So i guess the hype around him a couple of years ago was understandable.

That being said, he's still 21 and has a lot of time ahead of him, defenders peak later than other players, so he could still potentially improve.

Since your the ligue 1 master, you think psg would let him go? and how much?

Oh and is he playing a role in the NT set up?

He is PSG's best defender and one of the best centerbacks in the Ligue, so no i don't think PSG will let him go. Moreover they don't need money anymore so thats more reason to keep hold of him. I don't think he'd leave PSG in the near future, i'm sure they'll pay him handsomely enough for him to be content to stay with them.

Blanc seems to be convinced with the pairing of Abidal - Rami. He hasn't got as much chances as he'd have liked. He does get called up but rarely gets played.
