BERLUSCONI COVERS 67-MILLION-EURO AC MILAN LOSSES
(ANSA) - Milan, April 20 - Former premier Silvio Berlusconi's holding company Fininvest covered 67.3 euros of losses that his club AC Milan registered in 2011, the Serie A champions said on Friday.
Milan said in a statement that their revenues climbed to 266.8 million euros last year, compared to 253.2 million in 2010.
"The losses have been completely covered by Fininvest," said Milan Chief Executive Adriano Galliani.
"I thank the president (Berlusconi) for his passion... Without Fininvest, we couldn't be an example of sporting excellence the world over".
The 2011 loss was 2.5 million euros less than the club registered in 2010.
