It would be guys like Marrone and Giandonato, too old for Primavera (they want to lower that to U19/U18) but not quite at current club level. It'd basically be like all the U21 players from big clubs who could play at Serie B level, mostly a squad of 'loanees' except they are not on loan, they just play for the U21.

Official: Guidolin extends Udinese deal

Francesco Guidolin has officially extended his contract with Udinese to June 2015, an extra three years.
The Coach returned to his former club this season and has been a roaring success, taking the side to fourth place so far.

Champions League qualification is in the air despite starting the campaign with four straight defeats.

This evening Udinese announced they have extended their contract with Guidolin to June 30 2015.

It adds a further three years to the deal that was set to expire in June 2012.

This is Guidolin’s second spell at the Stadio Friuli after the 1998-99 season.

Strange criteria by the ref on Palermo-Milan.
Nesta, Balzaretti and Boateng committed bad fouls that deserved a clear yellow but since it was their 1st/2nd foul he forgives them. Van Bommel and Flamini were yellow carded for same/easier fouls just because it was their 3rd foul.
He's not looking at how bad a foul is but he's counting how many fouls someone committed.
