Director general officially quits Samp

Sampdoria have officially parted company with director general Sergio Gasparin.
There were strong reports of a split within the club, as President Riccardo Garrone disagreed with certain transfer strategies.

The issue of Antonio Cassano and the failed legal action to have his contract terminated was also thought to be a contributing factor.

“UC Sampdoria announce that today an agreement was reached to rescind the contract with director general Sergio Gasparin,” read a statement.

“With this note, the club intends to thank Mr Gasparin for the support he has given in these months.”

The rapport was short-lived, as Gasparin only took over from Juventus-bound Beppe Marotta in the summer.

As per his wife, he's fired and back home at liverpool.

Poor guy never had a chance with no transfers and Mourinho's Jesus-prints still wet in the concrete.

He should take the rest of the year off and then go back to Spain where he can once again be a thorn in Barcelona and Madrid's side.

To Rafa's credit he did manage to win 3 trophies this season, while remaining in contention to win two more. Just goes to show Inter are scum.

Wouldn't be surprised if Man City come calling at the end of the season.

I think he has made at least 15 million euros in the last 8 months. He should take a nice holiday and torment Hodgson by going to games.

Marotta, Delneri, Gasparin, Cassano + probably Ziegler e Pazzini......Sampdoria gonna be relegate team?! O_O
Add Poli to that list too. They have lost all their fundamentals (in their recent successes) in just a few months.
