After watching Napoli winning "yet again" in the last minutes of their game, i believe its going to be one seriously tough season ahead of us.

IMO Milan will be well ahead of everyone in the Scudetto race. Their team looks too confident and consistent and they have the depth this season to win it comfortably.

At the beginning of the season, I thought that its going to be easy to secure a top 4 spot but now that we're almost half way into the season things looks bit worrying for us IMO.

Lazio, napoli, Roma, Inter plus Juve will all push hard for those remaining 3 spots at the top. Roma and Inter are in a bad form right now but both teams have almost the same squads of last season plus they have enough experience to clinch those CL spots. Our direct rivals most likely are Napoli and Lazio.

Lazio are in a great form right now but i just don't think that form will last forever. They will start dropping points at some time this season. Napoli are more of a serious threat, they've been building their current team for some years now and they're getting better and better every year and this season they seem to be realistically aiming for CL spot.

Hopefully we won't be dropping some crucial points specially after the winter break (like we always do). It will definitely be a tough season .

Spalletti backs Juve in title race

Zenit St Petersburg manager Luciano Spalletti believes Juventus have a team worthy of winning the Scudetto this season.

The Bianconeri currently lie third in Serie A, but they are unbeaten in their last 15 games in all competitions under new boss Gigi Del Neri.

“Juve are growing game by game,” Spalletti told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “They are becoming aware of their own strength. De Neri's team can win the Scudetto.”

Asked about Alberto Aquilani, who he coached at Roma, he said: “The many injuries at Liverpool dug away at his confidence. He no longer knew how to train and how much to train.

“Now he has come out of the tunnel. And Juve have an extra champion.”

Spalletti then tried to distance himself from reports linking him with the Inter job.

“I am staying in St Petersburg. Case closed. In Italy the number of injuries is a record because the players have their heads and muscle burnt by the tension. The obligation to always win consumes you.

“I have coached 24 players. I have put them under all kinds of training regimes and I have only had two injuries all season. I don't understand all these attacks on Benitez.

“The professionalism and the competence of the Inter Coach aren't up for debate.”

Can we oppose the move if Napoli want him from Bari? With our current squad he would do us good, a decent replacement for Sissoko.
I would think so. I think both clubs who own the rights to the player need to agree on the move.

Yes he would. One of the other options I'd like is to sign Rakitic for cheap because he'll be free in the summer. He can cover for Aquilani and play on the wing. Instead of buying 2 players now we just get one to cover for 2.

Javier Pastore is being held captive to blame by Maurizio Zamparini following Palermo's faltering, last-gasp loss at Napoli.

The Rosanero threw the game away after 94 minutes of stalemate and it was Pastore's mistake which led to fragmentation.

Both sides jostled for power in the scramble for points, but it was Napoli who achieved their goal.

"Some of our players already had their heads in the dressing room. Look at Pastore, he was unwatchable," Zamparini told the press.

"If he never made that mistake in the middle during the final seconds then we would not have lost. He also forced [Giulio] Migliaccio into making an error.

"It was a crazy game, but also our fault too."
