Genoa President Enrico Preziosi blasted Miguel Veloso and Houssine Kharja. “I’d rather have donkeys who run than thoroughbreds who stand still.”
The two summer signings have struggled to make an impact and disappointed during last night’s extra time 3-1 Coppa Italia win over Vicenza.

“What do I make of Veloso? There are some players who don’t realise what it means to play for Genoa and in January we can make them understand,” slammed Preziosi in the Secolo XIX newspaper.

“It is better to have donkeys who run rather than thoroughbred horses who stand still. We don’t play with horizontal passes and light touches, even if they are internationals.

“People like Luca Toni and Omar Milanetto come off the bench and battle hard to turn the game around.

“Kharja is another one who, along with Veloso, has not found his form and we are struggling in midfield.

“Either they wake up before January or we will make some changes.

“If we play on Sunday the way we did in the first half against Vicenza, then Brescia will batter us,” continued the furious President.

“The players lacked character and we had to go to extra time, risking a really ugly exit from the Coppa. We have to avoid such stupid things.”

I'd be angry too, they have the players to challenge for top4 easily.
Since when? Apart from their defence they aren't anything above Chievo. And their defence is just half decent, haven't seen Rafinha doing something for them, Ranocchia and Criscito are the performing stars in their team, with Ranocchia staying one season max.

Can anyone tell me how is with tv rights money in serie a? I mean how much money does Juve get and how much other clubs?

;)

We (as well as Inter and Milan) wont get as much money from this new TV rights deal, as the money will be spread around a lot more than it is now so the mid and lower table clubs will be the main beneficiaries of this...similar to how the EPL is now I think.

Thers an article on this somewhere on footballitaliano.co.uk

I remember reading an article that says we'll be making around 92 millions from those serie A T.V coverage where in the past, the club used to make 107-109 millions. Thats a considerable lose in revenues and perhaps one of the "main" reasons why we built the new stadium.

The FIGC and Inter should pay that and more in compensation to Juve
