After watching Inter for a few games this season; I'm very interested to see how they are going to Perform without Eto'o. Until now, he's been their only good player and really the only reason they're even in the top ten.

I think this will really determine just how good their team is this year. We managed fairly well without Krasic, surprisingly I might add. Now we'll see how Inter manage without their best player.

To back up your statement with facts:

Serie A- Inter scored 14 goals
Eto'o scored 9 goals
Eto'o assisted 1 goal

CL- Inter scored 11 goals
Eto'o scored 7 goals
Eto'o assisted 3 goals

Italian Super Cup- Inter scored 3 goals
Eto'o scored 2 goals

In total, of the 28 goals Inter scored this season, Eto'o scored 18 and assisted 4 (only 6 goals were scored without his direct involvement)

Wow, that's just amazing. Inter seem to have knack for depending on one superstar. I think Mourinho was the only one able to take them out of that one dimensional style and make them play like a team.

Under Mancini, Inter were nothing without Ibrahimovic and now we're seeing the same thing again after Mourinho left.

Wesley Sneijder Disappointed That Inter Failed To Sign PSV Star Ibrahim Afellay
Sneijder has expressed his disappointment with Inter's failure to add Afellay to their ranks...

Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder has expressed his frustration at the Nerazzurri's failure to secure the services of versatile midfielder Ibrahim Afellay from Dutch table toppers PSV.

The 24-year-old Afellay is on his way to Barcelona after both clubs reached an agreement about a transfer fee in the region of €3 million earlier this month. Afellay is expected to sign a long-term deal in the upcoming weeks.

"I've told Inter that Ibrahim would be the perfect player for us and I've also told 'Ibi' that he would flourish at Inter. He has the qualities to become a huge star in Serie A. Unfortunately, Inter decided not to listen to me and didn't make a move for Afellay," said Sneijder to NUsport.

Sneijder was not the only Dutch international who would have loved to see Afellay join him abroad. Arsenal forward Robin van Persie has made it clear that he really wanted the midfielder to sign for the Gunners.

"If I were in charge at Arsenal, I would have signed Ibrahim without even thinking about it. He's a great player and I've told the club that I really rate 'Ibi'. Nevertheless, they have made the decision not to sign him."

Yep free transfer, but there was no way he was staying til then. So there should have been small bidding war for him, but seems like it wasnt. Though Barca would won it either way prolly.

And Melo I know, but guy plays all over the midfield, winger included. Just a shame he was that cheap, while we are interested in Dzudzak who is inferior and will cost 4 times more prolly.

Zamparini: 'I'll never leave Palermo'

Exactly two weeks after announcing his intention to sell up, Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has backtracked, insisting that he will never leave the club.

Zamparini was incensed following Palermo's 3-1 defeat to Milan at San Siro on November 10, questioning the integrity of the game after several poor refereeing decisions.

Interviewed in Italian magazine Oggi, Zamparini said: “I will never leave Palermo.”

However, he didn't rule out seeking new investment, which could mean selling a percentage of his stake in the club and maybe even ceding control.

“I will hold on to the shares,” he said.

“Among the possible buyers, there is an Arab prince who is a friend of mine. If he arrives, Pastore won't leave.

“Real Madrid have offered €25m through an intermediary.”
 Once again he tricked us all
