They bought his half for 5.5m last summer and bought the remaining half for 6m this summer.

Have in mind that both Secco and Marotta sold Criscito (Secco the first 50% and Marotta the rest this summer). When both of them decided to sell him then it's possible that it was Criscito himself who didn't want to come back to Juve. Sure, the reason for that is probably the way we got rid of him back in 2007, but in any case there was probably little to be done by Marotta this summer than to sell the remaining half of a player who didn't want to come back to Juve.

I can't watch this video. When I was talking about his technique though, apart from a very nice goal, some great set ups and chances, I meant mostly one chance by the end of the match. Balzaretti crossed from the left and the way Ilicic reacted was something only a pure football talent can do.

Josip Ilicic says he would have no problem taking Javier Pastore's mantle should he leave Palermo one day in the future.

The 22-year-old starlet scored a wonderful goal with his heel against Cesena at the weekend and has settled nicely in Sicily.

Interviewed in La Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: “I would be flattered [to take Pastore's place behind the strikers].

“It would be a responsibility that I'd try and assume with all the commitment possible.

“It would also be a dream to one day play for a big club, Milan included. But since I was little I have always been a Juve fan.”

Nothing to do with Bilic. I think he was annoyed that the journalist asked him if he'd ever play for Croatia and accented his Croatian roots. He lived all his life in Slovenia (with the exception of his first year, when he was a baby) and he rightfully considers himself a Slovenian so he didn't like that some guy doubted his patriotism by asking him if he'd reject Slovenia to play for Croatia.

But this was from some months ago. Since then he was capped for Slovenia and it's a finished story.

He fixed the last match when they won Serie B in 2005. I think that is why he's suspended.
