It doesn't really make a difference if Milan or Inter are getting ref assistance when we keep choking (like always) when we have a real chance to move up.

Its been like that for 2 years now already that when we have a chance to move up we choke and concede to teams we have no business conceding to. I think our problem is psychological, not ref assistance to the Milan teams,

Someone should see how many points we dropped to teams like Brescia or when we had a chance to pass the top 3...

Zamparini threatens to sell Palermo

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini insists he is fed up with football and plans to sell the club after last night's defeat to Milan at San Siro.

The Rosanero felt especially hard done by on the road and accused the referee of being biased towards Milan.

Palermo Coach Delio Rossi said: “It's difficult to explain how we lost 3-1,” an opinion shared by the club's owner.

“Tomorrow morning I will resign,” Zamparini said. “I am selling Palermo and I am leaving football definitively.

“I've had enough. I am tired of taking part in these episodes. I have taken my decision.

“I want to distance myself as soon as possible from this football. Palermo is up for sale from right now.

“I thought things had changed, but it's still the same filth,” he concluded.

When asked why the Nerazzurri were doing significantly worse than at this stage last season, he insisted the other sides had changed.

“This year there are teams like Milan and Juventus who have far stronger squads than last term. In the past season there were only Inter and Roma fighting for the Scudetto, but now it is different.”

For real? That's pretty entertaining. Things starting to return to norm perhaps?
Dunno about that. Maybe for Inter, but in order everything to be normal, Juve need to have 30pts after 11 rounds, the way we did in that 2005/06 season :D

Man, Inter really stood no chance back then. They did relatively well (better than now) but they were still out of the scudetto race after only 11 rounds because:
1. Juve 10-0-1 30 pts
2. Milan 9-1-1 28 pts
---
3. Inter 22 pts

Update 10:50CET: Palermo have released an official statement confirming Zamparini's plans and the reasons behind them.

An extract of the statement on Ilpalermocalcio.it reads:

"I have given the task to find an advisor, bank or other to help with the sale of my shares in Palermo football club.

"My decision is a net one even though I will suffer by leaving a great fan base like the one here at Palermo to which I am tied to.

"Of course, the new owners would have to be of the level to guarantee and maintain us being a great club.

"Everything is down to the fact that I feel beaten by a false sports world where values gave gone and where the economic and media powers of three and four teams dominate and want the Scudetto's between them.

"I am tired of fighting and I hope to leave it up to younger people with the enthusiasm to fight on and do what I was unable to: taking football back into sport and obtain the real values, assuring sports loyalty and equality so that we can win with equal arms when being the best.

"Maurizio Zamparini."

Looked like a legitimate penalty to me.
Sorry but :howler: , it wasn't even a great dive.

Etoo gets a fake penalty and a point the other day, Ambroshitini does a crap dive and gets a totally fake penalty when they're team struggling to win the game.

And our guy Krasic gets ass raped by the Italian media because of his dive (which we didn't even score from) and gets a two matches ban.

And they wonder why serie A is soo screwed up

This week has some good fixtures. Hopefully we win against Roma and Lazio-Napoli, Merda-Peelan end in draws. We will be 3rd, 2 points behind Peelan and one behind Lazio.
