Do you really think barca would sell when Messi is still firing on all cyclinders? Considering his age, he's still yet to reach his peak.
They've sold Ronaldo once when he was just 20 and just won the Ballon d'Or award. If the right offer comes along, i think Barca will sell Messi. Yeah it seems somewhat impossible now but it can happen.

I never said it couldn't happen. There are just way too many pros as to cons for barca to sell him.

He's an inspiration & difference make on the pitch.
He's a huge asset to them marketing wise.

Sure they might make a huge profit if they sell him but provided he's happy, he would bring in way more money than a possible transfer over a couple of years.

Thats true, but i just think that Barca have a long history of selling their best players for the right price (unlike for example, Real Madrid). They've sold the young Maradona, Ronaldo and Even sold Figo for their direct rivals Madrid ( Something not even the Madrid fans thought was possible).

Some of the guys here and even in other forums think its a joke to even think about this move but like i've said i wouldn't the least be surprised if that move actually happens. For the right price, Barca probably will sell....

None of them were signed by Barça when they were 11 years old and given loads of drugs to help them grow into the player he is today. Messi is Barcelona, and for any Barça president, the politics involved in selling him is far too negative to even think about. The Catalans would go berserk.
