I don't think there are any definite formula's in football.

But like i said, football fans are fickle, if you come back in 4 years time, for all you know, people might not even consider Barca prestigious then.

Who cares about fans anyway, we need to be attractive to players. Some guy in Cambodia who pays $1 for a Juve shirt with Betklik on the front is not contributing to the club.

I never said that i thought Real and Barcelona were the two biggest teams. I was being descriptive of the situation right now. Which is that players are attracted to Barcelona and Real more than any other club. So are most football fans.

Edit: @Juvejay, players think the same way as fans, most of the time.

Why would Ronaldo move to Real then? Do you really think the only motivation is money? I think United would have given him a pay rise, if thats all he wanted. Players, especially latin players, always want to play for Real or Barca at some point in their careers.

Woah, i wasn't talking about the last 30 years at all. I'm talking about the present state. Like i said, the nature of football is that its fickle, in a few years time, the situation may change completely.

Well if Madrid gained prestige from having a glorious history, then what is the difference between their prestige 20-30 years ago and it now? Some extra titles? Or a lot of money and a very strong team?

Why the hell would someone leave Barcelona for Inter?
Ronaldo (barca) ====> Inter :shifty:

If the offer is right and the club wants to sell then moving from one big club to another isn't a problem.

Inter were in a much worse state than they are right now back in the 90's yet Ronaldo left Barca to join them. It's all about :money: ....

You didn't read my other posts. I already said football is a constantly changing environment, right now no Barca star would leave Barcelona for Inter willingly. Unless he has personal problems or something like that with the club. 14 years ago however was a different case. At that time Juventus was a much more prestigious club than Barcelona for example.
