Yeah, Cambiasso has been the worlds best central midfielder for a few seasons now.

I rate Cambiasso, but i've always rated Essien higher.

I'm not saying its right or wrong. I'm kind of disgusted by it actually. But lets be honest here, players do want to leave Inter for Barcelona or Madrid. Players rarely want to leave Madrid or Barcelona for Inter.

I think they're talking about more defensive minded midfielders. It doesn't make a lot of sense to compare Cambiasso to Xavi, as they both play completely different roles.

It mostly depends on the money. They are Inter, not a small club. If they offer more wages, players will most probably choose them over the Spanish two.

Xavi is the best in what he's supposed to do.

And I'm with you on Essien vs Cambiasso comparison, if we take both Cambiasso and Essien playing in the same role, Essien is IMO by far the better player.

Nope, at that point Chelsea were a much better team than Inter. In fact Chelsea was more competitive than Real Madrid too, yet players preferred Real still.

Its like how Benzema and Diarra both preferred Real over Man United too. Theres a certain prestige that players associate with Real Madrid and Barcelona. Do you really not notice that trend among players?

the money, the colleagues, la liga, madrid the city, bernabeu full almost everytime makes you choose madrid instead of epl teams

The full stadiums make you choose Madrid over the Italian teams actually since EPL teams fill up their stadiums too

But ya, players would choose the spanish duo over EPL teams, due to prestige, better cities, better weather etc.
