Udinese was in CL zone few years ago and what?where are they now? Did u saw Utrecht 3-3 Napoli? Did u saw Werder 3-1 Doria? it's not top teams, that's why italy loosin' uefa rating very fast!teams like palermo, doria, napoli playin' good in serie a only, at european level they sucks, look at their results
Udinese is a selling team. They sell their best players for $$$, the same is Palermo and Co. Napoli is not. Each year they are investing. Cigarini and Quaglialera left but not because Napoli wanted money from them but they either didn't suit the system (Cigarini) or caused problems in the team (Quaglialera).

I can't believe we conceded more goals at home than away. Wish we can build up our consecutive clean sheet from now on with the confidence we gained from tonight.
Playing away from home, when the whole team is defending, is a very different skill to defending at home, when the main threat is counter attacks.

Hamsik humiliated Brighi.

I wonder if Napoli can finally make a top 4 finish. Quality wise they are among the best 6 teams in the league and I can't say that there is much difference in quality between them, Juve, Roma or Palermo and Sampdoria. They gradually built this team, they came close last year and this year they might actually make it.
Not at our expense, hopefully.

ha! wasnt it you who shut me down when i suggested that over the past couple fo weeks? anyhoos they re physically very impressive, but if they were to lose two of gargano hamsik lavezzi or cavani (to injury or lack of form) they wont be there

Since this is the first time I hear about this, it most probably wasn't me. :D

Well, yeah. But that goes even for bigger teams than Napoli. Losing 2 of your best 4 players is always a problem.

Looking at the standings in all the big leagues, it's easily noticeable that there is a big/famous team in the bottom 3 in every league.

Roma are 19th, Stuttgart are last placed with Schalke right in front of them, La Coruna are last in Spain, Liverpool are 18th in England, Lyon 17th in France.
Even some big teams are struggling. Bayern are 12th, whooping 13 pts behind the leaders.

Except Chelsea, there isn't a favorite at the top in none of the big leagues. Milan, Inter and Juve are behind Lazio, Mainz are leading in Germany, Valencia and Villarreal are ahead of the big duo in Spain and Rennes are the leaders in France.

Very early in the season indeed, but in the previous seasons the biggest clubs were always leading the standings in October.

Unfortunately Depor can't really be classed as a strong team anymore, but interesting to look around the leagues. Does it suggest more parity, or maybe some decline off the back of a big tournament?

Muntari strop signals the end
Sulley Muntari looks almost certain to leave Inter when the transfer window opens in January after falling out with Rafa Benitez.

The Ghana international was so dismayed at being left out of Inter's squad for last night's Derby d'Italia that instead of sitting in the stands, he walked out of San Siro and went home.

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Muntari will now be fined.

When asked for his reaction to Muntari's strop, Benitez said: “A player who is not in the squad can't be happy, but each of us do things that we consider to be right.

“Sulley must understand that there are others and that the others are important.”

There are signs that all is not well in the Inter dressing room.

For instance, Maicon was heard shouting over to Benitez that Jonathan Biabiany needed taking off as his performance wasn't up to scratch against Juventus.

Didn't Maicon shout at Inter's bench to replace Biabiany because he was injured?
I think they're making a whale out of a fly with this.

But I like it. :eyebrows:
