If the choice is Pandev or Iaquinta for the same price, Inter will go for Pandev, Juve will go for Iaquinta.

That's the question. Are we preferring the Italians because they are of the same quality as the other options? As said before, there is no question that the Italian should be preferred to a foreigner of the same quality, but are we talking about players of the same quality?
So, is Pandev better then? Oh he's a Balkan, silly question :D

Watched Marseille play, far far far from impressed with this guy.
    Thought the same :agree:

But its a new league, i think he is entitled to a transition period

He is better by far, but that's the thing, the Italians and the Italian NT fans won't see much difference between the two.
They're two completely different players, but still Pandev has been better the past few seasons, but both at their prime(ie Iaquinta at Udinese) I don't think there is much difference between the two. As for who i'd go for right now, Pandev is better without a doubt, Iaquinta is finished, injuries and being on the bench all the time screwed him.

I see more technical ability and 3 goals in 19 games.
19 matches (13 starts), 3 goals and 4 assists as a WINGER. And he joined the team at half season, immediately winning the place in the starting XI of the best team in Europe.
He's not even a winger and he did the job perfectly.

If he was Italian and Iaquinta Macedonian, you'd have laughed that I even dared to compare the two.

Are you comparing them based on current form Alen, as in, who you would take right now?

Because that would be unfair. Pandev is 27, Iaquinta is 31

Of course not. Right now it's a no brainer.
As a serie A follower I know them both since their early days. As much as I love Vinni as a Juve player and respect him for his heart, he's not even close to Pandev.
They're both not good goalscorers. Both score and scored the same. That's where they are equal. Iaquinta scored 70 goals in 205 matches for Udinese while Pandev 60 goals on 177 matches for Lazio. For both of them 14 goals in a serie A season is the best personal record.
In everything else Pandev is superior. From talent to usefulness. Better vision, better assistman, better dribbler, more versatile.

Ibra agrees terms with Milan - report

According to Italian journalist Carlo Pellegatti, Milan have already agreed a contract with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Reports suggest that the player should be signed by the Rossoneri on Friday.

“Milan and Ibra have agreed a contract. The deal between them is done,” said the Mediaset journalist.

“The Swede will earn €6m per year and the rest of his wage will be covered by Barcelona.

“Zlatan is really happy to join the Rossoneri and is delighted that they will be in the Champions League. This was a key factor for him.”

In the meantime, other Italian sources reveal that Marco Borriello could be moving to Barcelona in a part exchange deal for Ibrahimovic.

Questioned about the transfer, the Italian striker did not deny a potential move.

“Will I go to Barcelona? Who knows…” he told SkySport24.

Ok, there goes the 2nd place.

You think we can beat Roma for the 3rd place?
