So basically it was all about the wages and not about our purchasing power.
It means that Dzeko's wages would be lower than Krasic ones , because we were ready to bring Dzeko instantly while we need to rise some funds for Krasic, right?
Both Krasic and Dzeko like the idea of joining Juventus and are willing to come here. The difference is that Agnelli was going to sponsor the transfer fee for Dzeko as he promised the fans a big signing, while if we buy Krasic, we'll use money from our transfer budget.

There's nothing showing that Dzeko's wages would be lower than Krasic' so far though.

Who said we don't have money? But we cannot give wages for 40 players, that's why it is important to sell first.
Yeah. It's not that we can't sign without selling first, but it's really hurting us to pay all those wages.

Last year we paid 115m for the wages of our players. That's 9.6m eur a month only for wages.
In June, July and August, off season, we're paying almost 30m eur for wages. If we keep adding players to the squad, as we're doing, without selling, then instead of 30m in the summer we'll pay 35m eur or more. That's +5m eur given needlessly.

For example, the players we're trying to sell: Tiago, Grygera, Zebina, Salihamidzic, Camoranesi, Poulsen and Grosso are earning 17.2m eur net (yearly) which with taxes grows to 30m eur a year or 2.5m eur a month. Only during the summer we'll pay 7.5m eur for their wages.

7.5m eur isn't a lot of money for a club like Juve, but those are needlessly paid 7.5m eur. Instead of paying them to these guys we could've used them to buy a new player or to offer higher wages to players like Dzeko, which eventually might lead those players to choose Juve ahead of some other club.

What's notable about that?

Rangers tried to open a club shop in Aberdeen years ago, but they gave up after a few months after it was smashed up every other week.

A wee hand gesture is unlikely to do anything.

It's still somewhat amusing, and the right thing to do. Ofcourse they won't achieve anything doing that, but it's not like it's an Interstore in Turin or something.

You'd probably get your hands cut off in China for doing that :shifty:
