Yep, look at this from the start of the season:

Handanovic
Isla Zapata Felipe Lukovic
Inler D'Agostino Asamoah
Sanchez Di Natale Pepe

Every single one of those players have been the target of a big club, perhaps apart from Lukovic. All of them excluding Lukovic have or have had a market value of more than 10 million and could be playing in top clubs, if we followed the rumours and hype.

Is Rafinha better than Isla? Is Veloso better than anyone in that midfield? Remains to be seen.
Rafinha IS better than Isla. Much better i would say.

Di Natale rarely if ever plays in the center of a 4-3-3. 2 years ago it was Quag, last season it was Floro Flores

Though all in all i agree with you, Udinese's team looked at least on paper stronger than Genoa's current team.

Woah, then he's really good because Isla is very good too. Not flashy but does a helluva job on the right side, while having good ball control and passing. And Isla just turned 22.

I like Isla :agree:

He's solid. Nothing more. I like the fact that he's versatile though, i've seen him play as a CM a few times.

Ah ok. So maybe you can answer my question in the History thread.

Mohamed El-Fatih(The Conquerer). The Ottman Sultan that was famous for conquering Constantinople and turning it into the capital of the Ottoman Empire.
Ah, Mehmed II as I know him. The Byzantine Empire was on its knees by then anyway.

doesn't look like they are going to release details about the deal
If this site is telling the truth : http://www.footballdatabase.com/index.php?page=player&Id=8269&pn=Márcio_Rafael_Ferreira_de_Souza
then Genoa just filled their non-EU quota.

Since nobody is releasing any details, could Rafinha immediately go to Inter this summer if Maicon leaves Inter?

I'm always suspicious that some shady deal is taking place when I see how teams aren't releasing details about a transfer :p

I never saw that happen

I don't watch them every week, nowhere near that actually, so you could be right. But i have never seen him start out as the central striker personally.
Well he did it against Juventus when they destroyed us for starters. Those games he was CF were mostly towards the end of the season when Marino came back to Udinese.

Was that not in a 4-4-2 that Di Natale played in the middle, though?
Depends on how you look at where Pepe was positioned in the game. Even in a 4-4-2 where he'd be next to Sánchez, he would have to play the role of the center striker where the play was directed towards.

He played alongside Pepe and Sanchez in their memorable 3-0 victory against us this spring. Whether it's more of a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3, he's the spearhead in the formation.

It's not his ideal position, but Floro Flores and Corradi have been lousy.
