The point is, you seem to praise all the transfers that other clubs do and whine about all the transfers that Juventus do. I guess that's your way of being a fan, something I will never understand.
I give credit to where I think credit is due. I like what Genoa did this summer. I gave praise this summer to Genoa and Atletico for their Mercato and if Parma ended up getting Giovinco and Diamanti I would think they've done a great job also.

With Juventus I like some transfers (Bonucci, Motta and Lanzafame) and a few other I don't like. Why can't I be disappointed in some of the transfers that my team does?

Feel free to react the way you like, I already said that. You can be disappointed all you wany, you can get depressed all you want, you can commit suicide for all I care but this does not mean that I will not throw a remark on your reactions.

I think it's because they are pretty small teams in comparison to Juve so if they just sign a 'good' player it looks great for them. If Juve sign a good player it is expected, some of our fans want another mercato of Buffon, Nedved and Thuram to be satisfied.

Different expectations. I don't expect Genoa to get Toni, Veloso, Criscito, Rafinha and Rannochia in one summer.
Genoa's squad held UEFA-cup quality before these signings. Do you now think they have a Champions League team?

Luca Toni - didn't shine for Roma and might just be past it.

Veloso - behind Tiago in the Portugal's pecking order. Why?

Criscito - not a new addition.

Rafinha - Not official yet, but good signing if true.

Rannochia - good signing if he reaches his pre-injury level.

Those are great transfers made by Genoa.

Considering it a upper mid-table team it's really amazing IMO. Serie A will be interesting.

Its really up to you how you want to see these transfers, many people including me are impressed. I see them as a small team making impressive signings and becoming a better team. All of those players are good upgrades from what they used to have.

This is either fantasy football or Real Madrid/Barcelona type of transfer campaign, Juventus are not able to do such transfers nowadays and the fans have to accept that and hope that with the little being done that Juventus will still be better than all the awesomeness and fabulousness of Genoa, Fiorentina and the likes.

Now seriously, Genoa really didn't sign Rafinha did they? "According to a report in Bild" doesn't mean a whole lot now.

They should use a 4-3-3 formation now they have their fullbacks.

Every year we hear how Genoa and Fiorentina are signing great players, and every year they fail.

Veloso - if he is that good than some bigger club would snapped him

Luca Toni - just imagine if we signed him, it would be disaster all over the forums

Criscito - How many of you guys prayed to sell him, and he played for them last season too, if he is that good than at least we would try to keep him, or some other club would try to buy him

Rannochia - is good, but we still need to see will he return to his old form, and if he returns he is gonna play for Inter

Rafinha - just a rumour nothing even close to official

And yes I really hate Genoa!!!

People may be getting carried away with them this soon. On paper it's quite good.
