Totti to be sanctioned
Friday 23 July, 2010
Francesco Totti will be sanctioned after suggesting that referees protecting Inter 'stole' two Scudetti from Roma.

The League's disciplinary commissioner Stefano Palazzi is currently deliberating Totti's punishment after he made 'damaging judgments on the prestige, reputation and credibility of referees, federal institutions and a club [Inter] operating in the ambit of the FIGC.”

Totti had said: “The problem is that the others are strong, but they are also protected by everyone.

“There are always mistakes and you always try to think that they were made in good faith.

“They should use video technology and do something, but at the same time it would be a different League and this is why they don't do it.”
At least Totti has some balls.

Damn right Francesco tell those corrupt fvckers.

Never really liked Totti too much but it's about time someone stood up and said it. No one listened to Vieri when he made his claims about Inter's corruption. Disgusting.

Bravo Totti.

Genoa have pulled off another coup with the signing of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 24-year-old joins fellow Portugal international team-mate Eduardo and Luca Toni among Genoa's new arrivals this summer.

Milan and Fiorentina were also interested in Veloso, but Genoa persevered even when it looked like the player himself wasn't convinced by the project at Marassi.

La Gazzetta understands Veloso will sign for €6.5m plus Alberto Zapater in exchange. He will pen a four-year contract with the Grifone.

Genoa are also understood to have beaten Napoli to the signing of Hoffenheim midfielder Franco Zuculini.

He looks set to arrive on loan until the end of next season when they'll have the right to buy him for €6.5m.

I was disagreeing with him saying Rui Costa was a nobody in Serie A. How can someone in their right mind say that?
rui costa was a nickname of mine when i was like 10...always respected the player

I am impressed with Genoa so far. They are really strengthening their squad. Whereas Toni stays a liability, they now can field Ranocchia, Veloso, Criscito and Eduardo. Zuculini might play a role, too. I do not know Chico, I have to admit, though.

So according to reports balotelli is getting closer to City, if the numbers are true and they're selling him for 25-30 mil then i've got to admit moratti is getting much better in the transfer market lately.

Last year he sold Camel-face for a ridiculous fee and now he's selling a guy who's causing soo much trouble in his team for another Huge fee.

Well all Italian (excluding Juve, Milan, Roma) teams know how to do some fine business. Look at Genoa or Palermo always sign great players and sell them for a huge price after one season. It's not Secco's incompetence that spend a lot for Amauri or Felipe Melo (well partly it is) it's just that those motherfuckers know how to do some business.
