Not a surprise, imo. Allegri is an attacking coach. Never proved himself as a good organizer of the defense, and I think he isn't, but fits Milan style a lot.
I thought it was gonna be one of Spalletti or Allegri for Milan's bench after Leonardo.

So it will take a lot of patience and good investments to replace Inter again as the club in Italy.

Mourinho got rid of the bottlers like ibrahimovic and got 5 new players (lucio, pandev, sneijder, milito, eto'o) I think that had more to do with it. Even the great Mourinho struggled with Manicin's team
