Take off your goggles Dus. This guy is an amazing player like it or not.
    Average for 2 years.

Average almost every match. He only decides from time to time but when you count matches overall you count at least 80% more where he's average at best.

To me he had one great season and after Spalletti left he disappeared. He's not the old player and IMO far from being one of the worlds best in that position.

    Are you joking? :lol2:

    He sucked hard tonight.
He was pretty average. But no where as poor as Totti was.

Who has been missing a lot recently. Even the last game they played he was hardly involved, its as if he doesn't have the drive any more. Maybe he'll be back with a change of venue. I'd like to have him at Juve...

Haha, I knew it! It's Ranieri: win with Inter when everything goes wrong - and lose 4-5 games after that :)

I enjoyed this game, hating Inter a bit more than Roma, but now it's time to realise how tough it will be to do the same next week.

De Rossi didn't suck tonight but he wasn't particularly awesome either. He lost a couple of tackles in the middle putting Inter in counterattacking positions. I think he is a fine player and I wish we had someone like him in the middle but I agree with Dusan that he doesn't seem as great as he was before.

True. I never said he was the worst player on the filed, just average. Some hail him because of the assist :lol2: I wish they watch Roma more often. One assist doesn't erase 10 bad matches.

Says who for two years? You? Out of millions of people? Stop holding the 2years argument. He's playing for Roma not Madrid, Manchester or Juventus.

You don't like him and that explains everything. The man is appreciated by every single coach in this football world and by majority of football fans. Big time majority.

And Dusan, Ranieri is the best thing that has happened to Menez :D. He's more consistent than he has ever been...

In case people think I say that because he's Italian - no. I do not.

In fact, he's in my list of favorite players. But I watch them a lot and this is not the real De Rossi. Different style, role...everything. Now he's nothing special and his performances are usually only average. But whatever, it's my opinion.

Some rate him for unknown reasons, some just because they know how good he was before. But most of them aren't watching Roma matches.
