Simplicio might be taking Perrota's place. I've seen them using the 4-2-3-1 a lot, he could be playing in the hole. IIRC thats where he played last season for Palermo before they had Pastore.

Inter refuse to play in China
Tuesday 1 June, 2010
Chaos surrounds the Italian Super Cup, as the Lega Calcio insist there is no decision on Beijing and Inter refuse to play there on August 21.

Last season the tournament was played at the Birds’ Nest Stadium in Beijing on August 8 and initially it was going to be there again in 2010.

A few weeks ago reports circulated that it would kick off at San Siro instead, while today the Italian ambassador to China announced a deal had been struck to play in Beijing on August 21.

“The Lega Calcio wishes to point out that no decision has been made on the date or venue for this game,”
read a statement released this evening.

However, Inter are already standing up to complain about the clash with Coppa Italia Finalists Roma.

“The truth is that we sent a letter to the Lega Calcio confirming we cannot play in China on August 21, because on August 27 we must play the European Super Cup in Montecarlo,”
explained Inter general manager Ernesto Paolillo.

“Therefore the two dates are incompatible.”

Either the fixture is moved to a European venue or the date must be changed.

Last season Inter lost the Italian Super Cup match 2-1 to Lazio in Beijing.

Btw, Cessena, the team that just got promoted to Serie A after 19 years just lost their manager, he quit.
You see what he had to say?

“I spoke to the President and revealed how difficult it is for me to find new motivation after two unforgettable seasons lived to the max,”

“At this moment I simply could not give all of myself to the team in the same way as I have done up until now.

“I leave Cesena because I am a person who always tries to give his best and I fear that I could ruin that wonderful rapport between us.

“I feel that I am Cesena through and through now. I thank everyone, from the club to my staff, the players and the fans for a relationship I will never forget.”

So weird to bring a team from Serie C to Serie A in two seasons and lose motivation.

    It could be very likely.

He's much better than Perrota and Brighi.

I think he simply predicts he can't do any better in this journey with the squad he has ATM so he preferred to jump off the boat ( I know :D ) and look for another challenge while his C.V looking pretty good.

    Inter plan for after Maicon
    Wednesday 2 June, 2010
Inter are already planning for after Maicon according to La Gazzetta dello Sport after making contact with Penarol about Matias Aguirregaray.

Maicon is already in Jose Mourinho's sights at Real Madrid and is expected to be the subject of much transfer speculation this summer.

Aguirregaray has already been linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs, including Juventus, and Maicon's agent Antonio Caliendo also manages him.

However, the fact he doesn't have a European passport could count against Aguirregaray, so while Inter have made an inquiry, they have also turned their attention to Benfica's Ramires.

The 24-year-old Brazil international has been one of the stars of Benfica's title-winning side in Portugal.

Ramires has tended to play in midfield, but Inter's legendary adviser Luis Suarez apparently believes he could perform just as well at the back.

Inter would ideally like to sign Ramires for €10m, but feel the World Cup could raise his price.

Inter fans must really hate Real Madrid at this point. And if they sell them more players then they are just acting like a small team who gets raided after a good season.

    Milito 'disgusted' with Inter
    Wednesday 2 June, 2010
Diego Milito is apparently 'disgusted' that some people at Inter are offended that he is flattered by interest from Real Madrid.

The 30-year-old Argentine striker who scored both goals in the Champions League Final didn't exactly discourage reports last week that Jose Mourinho is keen to sign him for the Spanish giants.

Speaking to Il Corriere dello Sport, Milito's agent Fernando Hidalgo said: “He has always behaved well since he arrived in Milan.

“He hasn't said anything strange and now he's disgusted that someone feels offended because he said that he has offers.

“If Inter are offended by Milito they should put him on the market. You'll soon see a team that wants him jump out.

“He was honest in underlining that he has another three years on his contract in Milan and that he's happy. Why is anyone offended?

“Branca and Oriali know that last December an important Coach of a top European club asked for Milito and the deal never came to anything despite the offer of a much bigger contract. Perhaps they have short memories…”

Inter can win everything they want, they'll still behave like a bunch of losers.

keep the key player so you don't have to plan for a replacement. It's not like he was ronaldo to get 133$ for him..
Were we pathetic when we sold Zidane? Were Milan pathetic when they sold Kaka? Were Manchester United pathetic when they sold Ronaldo? Were Valencia pathetic when they sold Villa? Were Inter pathetic just last season when they sold Zlatan?

Maicon is the best right back in the world, he's as important as Ronaldo in his position.

if you want continuity you keep them, just like us in 2002-2003.. Valencia couldn't keep villa because they are weak..they won't win any major trophy in 10 years, it was so expected that villa will go, just like aguero. Zlatan ran to barca because he wanted the ucl and maybe for personal reasons...Manchester got the best deal in history for ronaldo so you had to be insane not to sell him for that money in full global crisis + ronaldo won all the possible trophies with manure..he wanted a change and real is the biggest football club. Kaka went out for the same reasons as Zlatan imo..Now about Zidane, it was his choice more than the club's..He was great at juve and he won a lot of scudetto's but we couldn't get the ucl in those years.

Why doesn't evra want to go from manchester to man?

Maicon has won everything with Inter. Why does that make him different or make Inter pathetic?

And how do you know who chose that Maicon is to be sold?
