One question;

Will Bundesliga (or some other league) threaten Seria A to take their 4th spot for CL if Genoa ends up 4th and they get beaten while other teams continue to fail in Europe as they did so far?
Next year and in season 2010/2011 Serie A will be above Bundesliga. That's official.

But if next year the Bundesliga teams do better than serie A teams, then in season 2011/2012 Bundesliga will have 4 teams in CL while serie A will have 3 teams.

That's how it's set. The results of the current season count only for the standings after 2 years. ( for example, the results of this 2008/09 season will count starting from season 2010/2011)

The sewer rat is the best finisher there ever was and there'll ever be.
It's amazing how he starts scoring only in March-June period and how he's a bench warmer throughout the season and a sure starter in the last 3 months, but when he gets into form he's unstoppable.

P.S: I just counted it. Last year he scored a total of 18 goals in 1512 minutes. That's one goal every 84 minutes.
This year he scored a total of 14 goals. One goal every 92 minutes.
That's one goal in less than 90 minutes for 2 years in a row, and the mofo is almost 36

Don't worry about it, as Galliani says next season they'll have 20 goal a season Marco Borriello fit next season, that should degrade the rat even further.

Really, that is sort of scary. I wonder what the comparison for goal to goal ratio is with Trezeguet. (Not that I'm asking you to find out)

Inter President Massimo Moratti has expressed his disgust at the racist chants directed at Mario Balotelli during Saturday's Derby d'Italia.

A police investigation has since been launched into the conduct of Juventus fans sat in the Olimpico's Curva Sud.

If I had been present in Torino I would have retired the team,” Moratti told Il Corriere della Sera. “The most terrible aspect of this event is that the racist chants were sung with pride, there was a clear desire to offend.”

Juventus have apologised to Balotelli and announced their full cooperation with the police investigation into the incident.

But how is this possible? After all their mercato was shit
They have the same number of pts as we do, they didn't play in CL , they are out of Coppa, and they have 4 of the top7 teams in serie A yet to play in the last 6 rounds.

Their main transfer Ronaldinho is a bench warmer for 5 months now. Borriello didn't contribute shit this year, Flamini started playing in the starting XI only in the last month, so did Senderos, Shevchenko is  ...and only Zambrotta contributed something to the team this season.

So yes, their mercato WAS shit and so are they.

But ours wasnt much better
Not better at all, probably even worse, but the impression i got here in July and August was that "We had the shittiest mercato ever and we'll play in UEFA Cup" while Milan had "the best mercato of all time and they'll win everything".
Similar was said about Fiorentina's mercato.

When i , or Jack, or anyone else was laughing at this we weren't saying that Juve had a good mercato, we were laughing at Milan's "amazing, mouthwatering mercato" on which we could only envy Milan.

P.S: Seriously.....people were saying that Milan had a much better team than us anyway and they had a light years better mercato than ours.
When we were playing Real or Chelsea or Zenit in CL, Milan was using the B squad in UEFA Cup, resting the main guys for their main objective serie A. When we were playing midweek against Napoli and Lazio in Coppa, they were resting their players because they were eliminated in the first Coppa round.
How come they are equal with us on points then?
