I don't know.
The impression I get is that the Sensi's have decided to a chunk of Roma to try and generate some cash.
This is posted by a Roma fan who tends to be pretty reliable with news:
The Flicks only want to buy about 30% of the club. The one Flick brother, Mick I think, was married Donatella Missikoff, a russian princess with an Italian/Roman mother. Evidently Mick Flick lived in Rome for significant periods and grew to love and support Roma. Donatella, even though her mother was Italian, went to Marymount University in Rome. It's an english speaking school. Where the wealthy from all over the world sent their children. You know what we are dealing with here; it's all champagne, caviar and Polo thrown in with a little Fascism.
There is a Swiss group that is also interested led by Fabio Alescio. He says that there is already some agreement with Rosella and that we should know something concrete by 28 April. Again, it's like last year. Rosella is going to hold on because she has nothing else to do. Any deal would invariably involve her keeping some type of job with the club. A mistake in my opinion. Every last Sensi has to go. How much more can the fans take. Then of course, we have Italpetroli/Unicredito deciding on whether to force the sale of the club. As we know, they backed down last year and let Rosella have her way even though her mother and her two sisters wanted to sell.
I think it is safe to say that all of this rumour and speculation is just that, rumour and speculation. Unless you are playing a role in this transaction, there is nothing reliable to form an opinion of whether this will get done. Last year, Rosella, along with her lawyers and accountants were dragged in by the government under the accusation that the leaks in the Soros negotiations were artificially driving up the stock price. I think they way to avoid that this time around. All we can do is wait and see.
