meeeh 2nd place is just the 1st loser, ya know.

Go ahead, cheer for Inter. I'll see you in May when they beat us by just 2-3 points.
I won't be cheering for Inter, I won't be cheering for anyone for the matter.

All I said was Inter's win is better for us.

i agree with jack, i would rather be secure with 2nd place that battle for 3rd or 4th. at least our CL bid is in the bag
But if Inter lose tonight's game, we'll be -6 and -1 from Inter and Milan respectively!!! which means we still will be in the title race until we play Inter!!!

2nd is almost the same as 3rd place, they both guarentee a spot in the CL groups.
Were there changes in the CL rules for next year?

I'm seriously asking this. I know that they planned some changes but i don't know if they changed the rules yet. 3rd team from ESP, ENG and ITA playing directly in CL groups was one of the proposals.
If they didn't change the rules then the 3rd place won't guarantee CL groups football. The 3rd team will have to play in the qualifiers.

again, even if inter lose and we do have -1pt differential from them ppl still forget that we have other matches to play. and its those other matches which we don't take advantage of. we give away easy pts to teams we should beat. i'm not saying that we should win every match but we should beat the teams we are expected to beat.

They changed the rules. It's on uefa.com. The 3rd place goes directly into the CL groups. Hopefully Milan wins tonight, hope dies last ;-).

Comon guy, 2nd and 3rd, pretty much same shit.

We all know that Milan are going to lose more points anyway, we have to stay in the run, no matter what, you never know what can happen, just keep close...

With the rules being changed, i will have to disappoint my good friend Jack and root for the scum of the earth.

My heart is in pain while saying this: Forza Scum of the earth :inter:

I remember one recent interview with Mourinho where he was accusing the others for lying about injuries and exeggarating the time players will stay injured (he was accusing Milan). Then he said how in Inter they never play these "games".

What about Maicon's injury mr. Mou?

Maicon's recovery was a miracle according to the media.
