Most hilarious injury saga of all was Andrade. He barely got on the pitch at all. :D
That was always the risk when he was bought.

Actually i heard it has something to do with the training ground, Capello had also stopped his players training there in Winter cause of the condition of the ground, which would be hard and iced up, which would lead to muscle injuries
Would hard ground not be more likely to be tough on knees and ankles than muscles?

we can blame the med staff but its a fact of the game that injuries will and do occur

therefore injuries should not be used as an excuse in any situation

But surely there is a point where there are so many injuries one has to think there is more to it than just bad luck?
then i would assume that player fitness comes into question

training sessions should be less demanding or condition should be adjusted accordingly. usually injuries are a direct correlation to a players fitness

My suspicion is that the problem is training methods.

Most folk seem determined to blame the medical staff, though.
exactly, which leads back to the coaches and training staff

but people are right to question and/or criticize the med staff because the players who are injured must not be treated/rehabbed properly because once they return to the lineup they are soon injured again

I don't think there is a problem with the point that players return to training, generally.

In many cases, I think there is not enough time between a player returning to training and being expected to play a match.

Reports: Becks calls in the lawyers
Tuesday 3 February, 2009
There are reports that David Beckham has instructed his lawyers to find a way for him to stay at Milan.

The England international midfielder is on loan at San Siro and is due to return to Los Angeles Galaxy on March 9.

But Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has stressed his desire to keep Beckham at the club for the long term.

According to the Corriere della Sera, Beckham has informed the Galaxy that he intends to negotiate with Milan and has asked for a mutual separation.

However, legally, the American side have no obligation to allow Beckham to leave because he is under contract until 2011.

It has been suggested that Beckham's lawyers may be able to find a legal loophole that would allow him to become a free agent.

===

Milan are so impatient. Why not just sign him in 2011, he'll be ripe for Milan then.

LA Galaxy will never let him go, and rightly so. Milan should finally start respecting the rules and stop always looking for loopholes.
They were doing it during Calciopoli, they were doing it after they missed out on CL when they tried to get in through the back door (in 2006 they succeeded, in 2008 they failed), they kept mentioning article 17 when they tried to buy Ronaldinho, and now this thing with Beckham.

God i hate them. They are the most disgusting thing in sports.

If they sign him they'll have a big chance on the Scudetto and I don't want that.
He's one hell of a player but I don't see how this will make them more favor to win the Scudetto than us.

I think it's matter of time until they flop back like we're currently doing. Inter are already on that road too, looks like it'll take them sometime to return back on their feet.
