No, what Kaka did deserves praise, no need denying it, as much as one dislikes him or Milan.
Yes, maybe he wouldn't have said no if it was a team bigger than Man City and yes, he's already earning more money than 99.9999% of the football players in the world, but saying no to twice bigger salary does say that there is still more than the financial aspect in football, for some players football is much more than business, and it does say that there are still players who care about the jersey more than about money.

He always asks the same question. He once asked me that when I had a rate of over 40 posts per day.
:D

Kaka deserves praises that's fair but Milan owners deserve a punch in the face.

I'm telling ya, they'll turn to Camel face. :D
every cloud.........

Kaka showed a wee bit of integrity by turning down all that money.....:pint:
word up to that, i have said before that only Kaka'a devotion to milan could stop a transfer and it looks liek that was correct. good on him

there is a reason why he turned down their offer,he is coming from a fucking rich family.kaka is not only a diver also a hypocrite.bond between him and milan will never be restored.
fuck of turk and take your bigoted views somewhere else. kaka showed more integrity than guys like thuram,vieira,cannavaro,zambrotta.....and these guys were hardly short of cash now were they? especially vieira, i was certain there was no way that we could ever get him such was his bond with arsenal but once the carrot was dangled in front of him...HEE HAAWW

kaka showed more integrity than most footballers ever do and he should be commended for that

agreed, though you have to worry for milan that if he feels let down by the club he may be tempted by a move to a club with more prestige than city..ie real

Actually I'm happy Kaka is staying. 1. It's good for Serie A (I mean it, not like these Milan winning CL is good for Juve jokes) 2. Milan won't be getting an insane amount of money to splash on new players. 3. He is no threat anymore.

Cook blasts Milan behaviour

Manchester City chief executive Garry Cook has accused Milan of “losing their bottle” and “thinking only of money” during negotiations for Kaka.

The Rossoneri seemed to have accepted Kaka's exit for £107m, but the Diavolo idol rejected the switch.

The 11th-hour drama seems to have left a bitter taste in the mouths of the City representatives who spent hours in meetings trying to secure Kaka's services.

“We were ultimately disappointed,” Cook told Sky Sports News this morning.

“We travelled out there yesterday with good intentions, but they bottled it.

“We entered into a confidentiality agreement several weeks ago because we wanted to go through the process in a professional manner - they didn't want that and were only thinking of money.

“We never spoke to the player. We never had our questions answered. The offer was made to the club, who wanted to sell Kaka, then their story changed.

“Their footballer was for sale, we engaged with the club in order to buy him, but their landscape changed,” he concluded.

Its like when Buffon rejected Milan to stay with us in Serie B. These are the true legends of the game, not some pansy doing step-overs and demanding transfers

I don't share the respect most of you guys have suddenly for Kaka.I think the whole story was made up by the Milan directors.
